Easy to customize and restore worn-out indoor and outdoor furniture couch and seating cushions. Perfect for home and commercial uses, arts and crafts, DIY (do-it-yourself) projects, accent pillows, pet beds, tolix, bristo, dining chairs, bar stools, camping pads, picnic benches, examination couches, furniture foundations, party decorations, etc
What to do upon receiving the product?
Open the box and immediately remove the foam from its vacuum packaging. Stretch the foam's length and width in gentle pulls. Gently massage, knead, and apply pressure to the foam with your hands. Lay the foam on a flat surface facing upward at the high point of the curve. Depending on the thickness and size, this process may take a few days
How to avoid premature discoloration?
UV, sunlight, and oxygen will turn polyurethane foam beige, yellow and eventually dark orange. The color does not affect the foam quality, density, or ILD
What is CertiPUR-US Certified?
CertiPUR-US certified foams are free of formaldehyde or phthalates, heavy metals, tris flame retardants, and low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million). Regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission
Does the cushion fluctuate in size?
Due to dryness and humidity, foam varies by 1/4 in size because it's a blend of Polyols Diisocyanate (TDI) and water. That is why it will endure extreme conditions
What are density and ILD?
1.8 pound density is related to the foam quality and durability. ILD (Indentation Load Deflection) is the foam firmness or compression rate. When applying pressure to a cubic foot of 46 ILD, the foam will compress by 25% (compression rate 1827)
How long will 1.8 density foam last?
High density foam lasts an average of 8 years. FoamFit recommends replacing the cushion after 5 years.
